A Star is Born su Premium Cinema il primo film da regista di Bradley Cooper, Oscar per Shallow, nomination per Lady Gaga
Venerdì 15 novembre arriva l’attesa pellicola di Bradley Cooper con Lady Gaga A Star is Born su Premium Cinema su Sky via satellite e digitale terrestre, in streaming su Infinity, disponibile in on demand su Sky.
Presentato fuori concorso a Venezia nel 2018, l’opera è un remake di È nata una stella del 1937 ed è il terzo rifacimento, dopo quello del 1954 ed il musical-rock del 1976: al centro del racconto, la storia di un musicista alcolizzato e drogato (Cooper), che scopre e si innamora di una giovane e talentuosa cantante (Gaga)…
A Star is Born è un melò dove tutte le canzoni presenti sono state scritte da Gaga e Cooper, talvolta affiancati da altri artisti, registrate dal vivo e senza sovraincisioni. Costato 36 milioni di dollari ha incassato 435 milioni di dollari, diventando così la pellicola più redditizia della storia del cinema con protagonista una cantante, superando così il mitico Guardia del corpo del 1992, con la compianta Whitney Houston.

Shallow ha ottenuto un enorme successo a livello mondiale, ricevendo, oltre all’Oscar come miglior canzone, un Golden Globe e due Grammy, diventando il più premiato nella storia della musica. Il ritornello conclusivo, secondo il Rolling Stone è «da brividi» e caratterizzato da «armonie impressionanti»:
