I SAG Awards ribattezzati Actor Awards (perché il nome del sindacato era ostico per tutti figurarsi all’estero), trasmessi da Netflix in streaming, hanno certificato il trionfo di The Studio e The Pitt tra le serie tv e di Sinners tra i film. Harrison Ford ha ricevuto il premio alla carriera. Da segnalare le vittorie di Keri Russell per The Diplomat e Michelle Williams per Dying For sex.
Il momento più emozionante della serata è stata la vittoria di Catherine O’Hara (morta a 71 anni lo scorso 30 gennaio) con il premio accettato da Seth Rogen che ha ricordato come ogni sera gli mandasse le pagine del copione riscritte. “Ogni volta non solo rendeva migliore il suo personaggio, ma l’intera scena e la serie, dimostrava come si possa essere sia un genio che una persona gentile” (guarda qui).
