Nottata dedicata ai premi della tv, ai tradizionali Emmy. L’edizione del 2025 ha regalato poche sorprese e pochi guizzi memorabili (carina la reunion di Una Mamma per amica con Lauren Graham e Alexis Bledel che hanno scherzato sul loro piccolo show con grandi sceneggiature). La sorpresa più grande e inaspettata è stata la vittoria di Jeff Hiller come non protagonista per Somebody Somewhere.
Per il resto la faida Scissione – The Pitt è stata vinta da The Pitt anche se fa un po’ strano vedere che il best drama non ha vinto né per la sceneggiatura (andata ad Andor) né per la regia (andata a Slow Horses). Se Noah Whyle era scontato, tra le attrici tutto lasciava pensare a un riconoscimento a Kathy Bates, invece è stata premiata Britt Lower per Scissione e c’è un po’ la sensazione che non si voleva far tornare a casa la serie Apple senza un premio nelle categorie drama principali.
The Studio ha dominato tra le comedy e ottenuto per 13 Emmy totali, con l’eccezione ovvia di Jean Smart per Hacks. Giustamente The Bear è uscita da questa serata con 0 Emmy dopo una terza stagione deludente. Chissà che non si decidano a spostarla tra i drama dove avrebbe decisamente più possibilità.
Anche il dominio di Adolescence era assolutamente prevedibile così come la vittoria di Cristin Milioti tra le attrici; Owen Cooper a 15 anni è l’attore più giovane ad aver vinto un Emmy. Di seguito l’elenco completo con i vincitori in grassetto.
