Oscar 2021 i vincitori: Nomadland e la prima donna di colore a vincere per la regia, Anthony Hopkins miglior attore, Francesc McDormand miglior attrice
Oscar 2021 l’elenco dei vincitori alla fine qualche sorpresa finisce per regalarla. E farà molto discutere la vittoria di Anthony Hopkins miglior attore per The Father “sottratta” allo scomparso Chadwick Boseman per Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom che finora aveva vinto tutti gli altri premi. Nessuna sorpresa per Nomadland (che dal 30 sarà su Disney+) e che fa la storia con la vittoria per Chloe Zhao come miglior regista prima donna di colore e prima asiatica.
Netflix si porta a casa più premi con 7 statuette ma probabilmente alla vigilia se ne sarebbe aspettata qualcuna in più. Tre premi grazie a Nomadland per Searchlight parte del mega-gruppo Disney. Sound of Metal fa felice Amazon con due premi ma anche qui forse ci si aspettava qualcosa in più con Borat. Serata amara per l’Italia: Laura Pausini non vince l’Oscar per Io Si e nessun premio per Pinocchio. Miglior cartone agli Oscar 2021 è Soul.
