Oscar 2021 le nomination: guida Mank nella fiera delle diversità e delle prime volte (con Laura Pausini e Pinocchio)

Nomination Oscar 2021  Mank il più nominato, due candidature per Pinocchio, dopo il Golden Globe c’è Laura Pausini

Le nomination Oscar 2021 arrivano in vista della premiazione del 25 aprile, in un anno dominato dalla pandemia con le sale chiuse e lo streaming nuova casa del cinema. Annunciate da Priyanka Chopra e Nick Jonas le nomination parlano anche un po’ italiano con Laura Pausini per la canzone Io si/Seen di La vita davanti a sè di Netlfix (per cui ha già vinto il Golden Globe) e le due nomination per Pinocchio a trucco e costumi.

Ma dopo le polemiche dei Golden Globe sono anche un inno alla diversità. Mank di Netflix ha ottenuto 10 nomination agli Oscar 2021 tra cui miglior film e i suoi attori e regista, in 6 poi hanno sei nomination, Netflix in totale ha 35 candidature. Ma è un anno di “prime volte”: per la prima volta due donne sono nominate come registe Emerald Fennell (“Promising Young Woman”) e Chloe Zhao (“Nomadland”), e in totale sono la sesta e la settimana a ottenere la nomination; Zhao è la prima donna di colore nominata come regista e la prima a ricevere 4 nomination in un anno; Steven Yeun per Minari è il primo asiatico-americano nominato e Riz Ahmed per Sound of Metal è il primo mussulmano nominato miglior attore.
